My Journey

I fell in love with movement at the age of seven when I was introduced to ballet, became a professional dancer dancing for the Boston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater and touring Europe with Rudolph Nureyev. I also had the opportunity to dance and tour in Japan.

But my real passion unfolded when healing from the self destruction of an eating disorder. It’s a gift I am grateful for every moment of every day because it forced me out of victim mentality to living a self love affair that is ongoing and has made life deeper, richer, messier and more magnificent than my wildest dreams.

I am so happy and grateful to be a guide for others to have their own self love affair, through movement, nourishing food, herbs, meditation, nature wanders, laughter and the knowing that the answers we are looking for we already have. Our only “job” is to uncover our own truth and deepest beauty. We are divine beings walking around in different suits. Simply, (as Ram Daas says) we are all walking each other home.

I have been teaching Pilates for over 30 years and had the amazing opportunity to work with Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates protege whom he left in charge of his teachings when he passed.

I am also certified in Spinning, Yoga, Folk Herbalism, and I am a Holistic Health coach graduating from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2011 falling ever more deeply in love with all things wellness!
